My Manicure: Camel-ot

Camel dots upon a Camelot base,
Nude with double stamped looks like lace,
What to do with little ol' thumb?
Some stripes with Camelot, my old chum.

My Manicure: I've Come All Clover

A bit of buff topped with four leaf clover,
Trimmed by Hauge, some stamped all over,
Dots placed near my abnormal half moon,
And this mani was done with quite soon,
Something simple didn't take long,
On Friday night before the midnight gong.

My Manicure: Summer Lovin'

Summer lovin' with neons on blast,
Neon photos, is it too much to ask?
I made a mani, all done free-ly,
Do you think it's as cute as can be?
Summer neons on camera so dull,
But uh oh, in the Summer sun!

My Manicure: Nothing Compares To You

It's been nine days and twenty-three hours,
Since I took my polish away,
I went out every night and worked all day,
Since I took my polish away.

Since you been gone, I can do whatever I want,
I can do whatever I choose,
I can eat my dinner in lots of restaurants,
But nothing can take away these blues.

'Cause nothing compares,
Nothing compares to you.

It's been lonely without painting here,
Living with the same old colours for so long,
Nothing stopped me from taking out polish two of those days,
But laziness is where I went wrong.

I could show my hands to everyone I see,
But it'd only remind me of you,
I went out for lunch and guess what they told me? Guess what they told me?
They said "girl, those nails look mighty good" But they're fools.

'Cause nothing compares,
Nothing compares to you.

#saimassalon An ode to not redoing my nails in 10 days and not even for a mani I loved, wtf but I was busy and lazy.

My Manicure: Liar, Liar

Liar, liar, paints on fire,
Polish colour is a nightmire,
When neons won't show true,
What's a polish girl to do?
Try to edit and lie some more?
Even though it's what I deplore?
Or leave well enough alone?
Admit defeat, true shade unknown,
To any but the naked eye,
Certainly not my camera spy,
I'll say in words instead to you,
The colours that I see true,
A neon pink like bubblegum,
Paired with a chartreuse chum,
Studs and stamping join the fray,
My mani tonight, this Thursday.

Featuring China Glaze "Bottoms Up" an "Electric Pineapple"

P.s. yes, I made up a word which I abhor but it's artistic license ;)

My Manicure: My Love

My love it wears a black, gold rose,
That's newly sprung on pink,
My love is like a painting done,
In pink, white and black ink.

As fair art thou my bonnie hand,
So deep in love am I,
And I will love thee still, my dear,
Until the polish gang dry.

Until the polish gang dry my dear,
May well be when we melt in the sun,
I will love thee still my dear,
While the sands o' life shall run.

And fair thee well my only love,
And fair thee well, a while,
And I will come again my love,
To paint for it makes me smile.

My Manicure: Meandering

Tonight, some manicure meandering was done,
What ended on my fingers was not how it was begun,
It came together bit by bit, painting as I went,
And this is what I ended up with once brushes were spent.

My Manicure: Denim & Red

Steely denim in a blue-grey shade,
A satin finish from Kiko it's made,
Shiny apples in a vibrant red hue,
No trim of leaves but studded with glue,
Midweek manis, more like rush jobs,
Half hour this time with bits and bobs.

My Manicure: Fifteen Minutes

Fifteen minutes was the name of the game,
At eleven pm last night, that was my aim,
A few polish bottles and no clean up brush,
As I did this manicure in a sudden rush,
Having spent the weekend not painting at all,
The previous mani, no longer under it's thrall,
At such late notice, I grabbed some polish tools,
Should I use decals or should it be jewels?
Those piles of decals, ignored more than used,
It was to those that my eyes now perused,
And fifteen minutes later, this is the result,
This daylight photo is to nail art, no insult.
