My Manicure: Miniature Mozaic

A miniature mozaic graces my digits two,

Atop a grape that Barry M calls blue,

It's hue showing here a tad subdued,

In front of my eyes it's got a darker mood,

A shade of cobalt so deep it reigns supreme,

A shade so perfect as if lifted from a dream,

Served with a glitter from Essie of many hues,

On a silver platter dotted with golds and blues.

My Manicure: McQueen Monochrome

Monochrome menswear from Mr McQueen,

inspired the manicure that can be seen, 

Squares and lines of black and white,

Flanked by leathered textured delight,

The rough with the smooth, side by side,

The black with the white, on my nails applied.

My Manicure: Siriano Stripes

Dressing my digits in Siriano tonight,

Clothed in pink and black striped delight,

Flanked by black patterns of chevron and squares,

Joined by neon pink studs in pairs.

Zoya "Lola" didn't photograph as bright as it really is.

My Manicure: Versace Glitter Illusion

Darkness wrapped around my digits ten,

Glimpses of nude alluded to but then,

Trimmed with glitter to draw the eye,

To that nude illusion, oh me, oh my!

Avert the eye or look closer still?

It's not really naked, it's just the thrill.

My Manicure: Freehand Filigree

Tonight my painting harks back to filigree,

The metal handiwork oft found in jewellery,

The swirls and strokes painted in many a curve,

In white and black are the colours I serve,

Coral graces my thumb to accent the look,

Some roses present in every finger's nook,

My Manicure: Zig-a-zig-ah!

If you want zig-zag fingers, you have got to see,

Someone by the name of Linda, THE nail vinyls lady,

If you want zig-zag fingers, she will show you the way,

Just stick them on and paint atop before ripping away!

I want zig-zag fingers, so I painted mine with gold,

Atop mini chevrons, some sugar mat and lo, behold:

My zig-a-zig-ah!

My Manicure: Boxing Day

It's the boxing day holiday here in the UK,

And on my sister I painted on our lazy day,

Some honey ryder gold and emotions so black,

Topped off with some stamping in gold damask,

She's not one to venture into the realm of nail art,

I didn't bother to ask, in case she ran with a start,

I chose some hues appearing pleasing to her eyes,

When she donned her specs, much to her surprise,

She loved what she saw, that gold and black damask,

And I'm even more pleased with my quick mani task!
