Oh me, oh my, in love am I,

With what I see, before my eye,

A dash of teal, a spot of pink,

A dark blue and green, I think,

Multi coloured stamp on fingers two,

And freehand stripes in all the hues.

This mani was done many days ago,

To match a frock from years gone by,

A 50s dotty ensemble of blue spots, 

The dots together looked so fly,

Twas a special occasion Saturday past,

Off up North went the dots and I,

To celebrate with a beautiful bride to be,

And many, many dots did my eye spy.

Rosy, Rosy, quite contrary,

How does your garden grow?

With roses so pink and leaves of green,

And black and white stripes in a row.

To a family wedding wearing darkest blue,

To match with my frock of the same hue,

Silvery jewels in my ears and on my nails too,

'Tis the last mani of August, it's over boo hoo.

This is a mani of three days gone past,

Done on Friday, the night we danced,

Another night at Hot Dub Time Machine,

Preceded by laughs, on the fringe I'm keen,

Something simple, something quick,

This mani did the very trick.

Jewelled stickers upon Chinese jam,

Stripes of beige and camel, of the same fam,

Trimmed with traffic of the same plum hue,

This is my mani, from me to you.

Peaches & cream with a black & gold trim,

Something I manicured, upon a sudden whim,

Stamped upon buff in a black scroll print,

This is my mani buff with peach there's a hint.

Going to Hot Dub Time Machine,

Wearing some glow, with a blue sheen,

Dance the night away to music so mean,

Having so much fun, it's frankly obscene.

Tonight I'm wearing red and gold,

And double stamped, oh I'm so bold,

As if once wasn't good enough,

I stamped again, it wasn't tough,

In my haste to get to bed in a rush,

I painted quick and dragged my brush,

Oh dear topcoat, you've ruined my work,

Ok, I admit it, it's my fault, I'm the berk.

My Manicure: Painted Polish

Tonight my digits are all the same,

Not by design but by polish name,

For I'm wearing a trio by Lexi's hand,

It's Painted Polish, a sparkly brand,

Her holo paints boldly glisten so,

Their sparkle akin to a sunny rainbow,

Cremes with shimmer hidden within,

This combo for me is a surefire win.

Smeared, spoiled, not how I planned,

A nail fail from showing almost banned,

Not worthy of adding a promotional tag,

My Manicure: Summer Satsuma

Summer satsuma packed in my lunchbox every day,

Juicy flesh to chew as part of my luncheon buffet,

Succulent and tasty, the smell a potent perfume,

Able to be smelled across the entire room,

Combined with dark chocolate, it's my favourite delight,

But even alone, it packs a fruity punch of might.

Turquoise lace upon bare skin and pink,

A bright combination dontcha think?

A frock I spied on a television show,

For this manicure was the inspo.

Eleven colours are before your eyes,

All joined together by blanket stitches,

Where one ends, another is spied,

For that's where the colour switches.

Stripes of European blue upon Barry green,

Green hare glitter on my thumb can be seen,

A simple manicure on this July Thursday,

Twin Tuesday: Mother Nature

Twin Tuesday, where have you been? 

We've not met for so long, it's obscene! 

Today in the glorious summer month of July,

Sophie spotted a natural gradient with her eye,

To wear it on nails is what she proposed,

And when Aydi suggested twins, I exposed,

Her eyes to this beauty of mother earth,

And together to these manis we gave birth.

My Manicure: Bute-iful

To Bute we went only just last week,

Scottish sun and architecture we did seek,

In a lovely house on the Mount Stuart estate,

300 acres of woods and beach on our plate,

The Marquess' palatial house of red brick hue,

Of which we were given a private tour,

It's where Stella Beatle got married you know,

My cousin and I almost ditched our wedded beaux,

When we saw the racing driver Marquess walk out,

With thoughts of living in the house of good clout,

But we retired back to our modest stone house,

To watch the world cup and paint nails in quiet as a mouse,

Watched over by donkeys, horses and cows,

And in the day a woodland trek before a sun filled drowse,

On grass and beach before bathing in clear Scottish sea,

Before taking a sunny picture of a mani made by me.

My Manicure: Fabulous Frock

A mani inspired by a fabulous frock,

A Siriano creation I'd love to rock,

Long black fabric covered in print,

Leafy swirls in gold and teal tint,

This is the mani for my Bute holiday,

I've decided not to paint while I'm away.
