My Manicure: Polka Posy

Dots and dots and dots galore,

Spot on some dots and add some more,

My love for dots, it knows no bounds,

The lack on my nails, me it astounds,

Remedy that tonight I surely must,

With red shiny apple and pure go for bust,

Into the fray comes a posy atop Czech,

A flower and a leaf in multicolour bedecked.

Ladies and Pussycats,

This is Lightning no.5!

One, two...three, four, five,

Every digit on my hand, feels alive,

To the polish store, in the room next door,

Gathered up some loot, went back for more,

I like polish, vinyls, some circular dots,

Bonder, Glisten & Glow cos you know that rocks,

A little bit of Nevermore in my life,

A little bit of glitter by the side,

A little bit of Hue is all I need,

A little bit of Essie is what I see,

A little bit of duochrome in the sun,

A little bit of sparkle all night long,

A little bit of Glisten here I am,

A little bit of all makes me your mani.

My Manicure: Studded Swirl

A little bit of Barry M Blackberry on my nails,

Topped off with Zoya Maisie, the flakie that never fails,

Stamped in gold with Pueen 46 on a finger sole,

The coloured trim on the others following it's leading role,

A swoop of bright Cactus from that Colorful Club,

Flanked by that recurring gold and a Grape Pop stub,

Two studs stand atop that sweeping swirl,

Tonight my manicured friends, I'm a curly girl.

My Manicure: Pattern Envy

This manicure was inspired by a pattern I spied,

A pattern in back on another's photo, their nails beside,

With flowers of white and leaves delicate and dark,

Sprigs of white and coral among that length of bark,

A dash of colour to contrast, with lilac I do imbue,

To accent in gold filligree a stamp of shining hue,

To gloss or to matte? O'er this I dithered and dallied,

My thumb played the oddity, gold satin it carried,

My manicure inspired tonight by pattern envy,

Hopefully doing justice, a little if not plenty.
