Corner of Sloane and Baker

I went with bare, naked nails overnight but then I realised after a day spent NOT packing my suitcase that I had better paint them as I'm going out for afternoon tea tomorrow and I can't go out naked!

My manicure uses my two new Nails Inc polishes "Sloane Street" and "Baker Street" and on my index finger I decided to try out my new Candy Lacquer "Gumballs".

Today's nails will only be gracing my hands for two days as I will be doing a manicure for the holiday wedding before I jet off..... on Thursday!!!

Leaving behind the not so sunny Scotland for Mauritius sounds heavenly with all this rain!

Painting the Blues...the Indian Ocean Blues!

Today I'm painting the blues because it's June and our days are interspersed with so much rain instead of sunshine!  My blues are not blue at all of course, with these hues they are making me look forward to my holiday to Mauritius for my cousin's wedding.   Indian ocean here we come!!

The blues are China Glaze "Aquadelic" and Nubar "Blueberry" with embellishment in Barry M "Gold", Orly "Luxe" and Color Club "Gingerbread":

My photos include another rare shot of my right hand! Not because my right hand doesn't always look good because I have a steady hand and more often than not, my right hand is surprisingly nice (if I do say so myself!) but because I decided I didn't like that so much of my blue diamonds were covered by the stamp on my left hand so I did something different on my right hand.  I even tried to add a blue border on my left hand but it wasn't what I really wanted.

Wedding Belle

The countdown to Mauritius continues! And today I tested out some manicures for the wedding belle, my cousin, which I will be doing for her big day!

Jubilee Jack

I am a little impressed with myself for my Jubilee Jack nails, even if I do say so myself!

So, with a little fanfare, I present Jubilee Jack!

I've wanted to do union jacks at some point so the Queen's Jubilee seems apt, even if I'm not getting a long long weekend :(  My new job doesn't give bank holidays (just accrues them into holidays) so I have a few spare days to use in December I guess!

For this manicure, I used the following polishes:

Zoya Purity
Zoya Sooki
Sation Midnight Kiss (a tad difficult for nail art but a lovely colour)
